If you’ve started a passport or visa application through a VFS Global application centre, you may have come across references to specific supplementary forms — most commonly Form I, Form J and Form V. These forms aren’t part of the standard application paperwork; they only come into play in particular circumstances, and knowing which one applies to you can save you a wasted trip to the application centre.
Here’s a quick list of the forms that we assist our clients with.
If any of the situations where you need to complete one of the above forms, you need to see a notary before your VFS appointment. One visit to your notary will save you the time and hassle of having your forms rejected by VFS Glopal and then having to wait another 2 months before your next appointment.
Many of these situations a lost passport, a formal change of circumstances, or reissuing an expired travel document often require supporting documents to be certified, notarised or apostilled before they’ll be accepted by a consulate or VFS centre. If you need a statutory declaration, certified copy, or notarised document prepared to support your application, we can help you get the right paperwork in order, wherever you’re located.
